I wanted to make some oversized snowflakes.
Supplies Needed:
a big box of popsickle sticks
hot glue gun and glue sticks
DecoArt Paint (I used the Americana Cool White and the Americana Gloss Enamels Tuscan Red)
DecoArt Paint Glamour Dust Paint (I used Ice Crystals and Sizzling Red)
PK GLITZ glitter (I went with China Red and Crystal)
I just played around with the design of the popsicle sticks till I got the designs that I wanted. There are so many options that you could go with. I hot glued the sticks together.
I painted one of the Snowflakes red and the other one white and let them dry. I tried painting them with the Glamour Dust at first but I wanted a base coat so I started with a base color and then added the dimension of the glamour Dust paint.
I then went over them with the Glamour Dust paint. The extra sparkle to the paint gave a pretty sparkle.
Once they were dry I applied super glue just to the edges and added the glitter. I would then shake off the excess onto a piece of computer paper and then rolled it into a cone to put the glitter back into the container.
This is a super fast, easy and inexpensive project that makes a BIG BOLD STATEMENT.
