Rayan @ The Design Confidential

Rayan (pronounced like Diane, only with an R) is a mommy to a crazed but adorable toddler who directs many of the projects she takes on. She spent a bit of her education dabbling in Architecture and ultimately landed her Degree in Interior Architecture and Design, only to continue on and earn a few other partial degrees and a couple of minors in a number of random and sporadic subjects, most generally centering around European History and Comparative Lit. Design has been her passion since childhood and she spent her days creating vignettes with her toys and arranging and rearranging her room decor. Over the years she has developed an outright obsession with furniture, design and all things DIY related. Her appetite for Creating just barely exceeds her insatiable desire to have beautiful things…Since money apparently doesn’t grow on trees Rayan has chosen to combine her two greatest loves (aside from her family of course), of creating and having…in such a way that allows her to make or build her own beautiful things, using everyday items, and inexpensive materials. Since she figures everyone else loves precisely the same beautiful things, she offers free DIY tutorials and Furniture Building Plans, for use by the general population, assuming of course they don’t mind listening to her occasional rants and ramblings.
