Amy’s Vintage Brass Printer Tray Turned Photo Display

by Amy of WhisperWood Cottage on August 29, 2011

Here’s a quick little photo display idea using a vintage brass printer’s tray…

SUPPLIES

STEP 1: Following the simple DISC Hanger instructions, attach the 4″ DISC Hanger to the back of the printer’s tray.

STEP 2: Since brass is not magnetic, place one magnet on the front side of the brass tray and one magnet directly opposite of the first magnet on the back side of the brass tray. The magnets attract each other through the metal. Repeat for each magnet you want to use. You can adjust the placement of the magnets later.

STEP 3: Use Gorilla Glue to attach one clothespin to each magnet.

STEP 4: When the glue is dry, adjust the magnets to the desired location. Add your photos, notes, or artwork to display. The display above features three homemade cards we received for our anniversary from family members.
