Amy’s Cat & Bat Halloween Lanterns

by Amy of WhisperWood Cottage on October 25, 2011

Meeee-ow! Black cats and black bats are out in full force this Halloween!

These great Halloween vinyls from Ten23 Designs made for a fun and easy project this past weekend.

I started by using a rotary cutter, straight edge, and cutting mat to trim the cat vinyl so that it could fit onto one of these lanterns I found on clearance years ago…

Then I added the 4 mini bat vinyls onto the front and back sides of these two lanterns to complete the scene.

I nestled them among these industrial machinery wheels and lit the candles. Voila! Instant and easy Halloween eeriness!

I also added this happy bat to an antique mirror in our kitchen. He puts the “happy” in Happy Halloween!
