I recently received a Dewalt DC608 Cordless Nailer from the folks at Rockler…
…and I LOOOOOOOVE it. Oh my. I will never hammer another nail again (if I can avoid it). Where has this nailer been all my life and why did I wait??? Seriously. If someone from Rockler was standing next to me right now, I would hug him/her. The same goes for Dewalt because one drill, one shop vac, and one saw later, I have yet to be disappointed with their quality and power.
Anyhow, now that we’ve established the fact that I love it…
Over at my place today, I’m sharing a sneak peek of a planked wall that I installed with the nailer (as well as a peek at my new graphite painted walls!)
I’ll share the entire wall this week, here, on the DIY Club site along with two quick videos.
One video will show you how to load the nails, because the manual didn’t, and after searching for an hour online with no luck, I sort of had to figure it out myself. (Oh yes, I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger the first time! Fortunately, I got it right first shot.)
The other will show how easy it is to use.
I’m talking like 20-second videos. Nothing fancy, but it gets the point across. And, unless you’re a professional carpenter (or dating one, married to one, friends withe one, etc.), you’ll appreciate the nail loading video at some point! I would have.
